Dr. Raja is a board-certified neurosurgeon who specializes in cranial and spinal microsurgery.

He is known throughout the state for his extensive medical and surgical expertise as well as his personalized approach to patient care.

He is also an expert in diagnosing and surgically treating complex neurological disorders such as acoustic neuroma, aneurysm, adult-onset hydrocephalus, Chiari malformation, and brain tumors. Dr. Raja uses advanced technology such as computer-assisted neuronavigation and surgical microscopes to ensure accuracy during these very delicate procedures.

Dr. Raja offers highly advanced and minimally invasive surgeries such as anterior cervical discectomy and fusion, anterior cervical corpectomy, and other operative treatments for herniated discs, sciatica, ankylosing spondylitis, and other painful spinal conditions.

Dr. Raja completed his residency in neurosurgery at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences under the tutelage of Professor Gazi Yasargil, Dr. Sam Al-Mefty, and Dr. Ali Krisht. 

He completed fellowship training in pediatric neurosurgery at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and underwent extensive training in skull base vascular neurosurgery at Arkansas Neuroscience Institute in Sherwood, Arkansas.

Dr. Raja is certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery (ABNS) and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (ACS). 

He is also an active member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS) and the Congress of Neurological Surgeons (CNS).
